Walkabout Mini Golf is a VR game that somehow gave me hope for online games, especially in VR. One thing I don't understand is how WMG is one of the only VR games whose player base isn't as toxic as the vat of acid the Joker jumped into. It's a night and day difference compared to games like HyperDash, a fast-paced competitive shooter whose lobbies are mostly filled with bigots and children. I don't have any problems playing with 9-12 year olds, and I'm not going to bully someone for JUST being a kid. That's stupid. But I guess that's just par for the course with any free-to-play game. Still, WMG still has some bad eggs, without a doubt. My first ever online game in WMG was a peaceful casual game with a dude who was a father living all the way in Europe. Not everyone in WMG or any game is going to be this nice, and the internet as a whole, with its 5+ billion users, leads to almost endless possibilities (some better than others, lol).
