There are many women that are not given a choice, not every woman is in a situation where they can act autonomously within a relationship to a man. This antivaxxer was at least a manipulator and very well could have been an abuser or domestic threat to her, so much that she would not go behind his back out of fear. Her moment of power was at the end where she could finally be honest to him without consequence.
It's shitty that many women live in this world, and your response really shows a lack of understanding or caring.

No, since your comment was removed by a mod I suppose you've forgotten, that is what you were saying. It isn't a lack of intelligence, it's a lack of means and safety that many have. Not everyone has those luxuries, and this woman was clearly one that didn't have that measure of independence or security to defy and/or leave.
