A) furries aren't purely sexual, that's actually a small portion of the furry subculture. B) they don't want to fuck animals and C) if adults where dressing as kids for conventions, no I wouldn't find it creepy. Adult men and woman dress as kid characters all the fucking time at conventions. Do you actually know anything about furry fandom or just the rightwing talking points?
A) it is NOT a small portion, by a long shot. I've read the fallout of enough 'furry conventions' to know, AND furry porn is one of the most profitable art niches.
B) Then why do they write so much about fucking animals?
C) I don't care if people dress as kids for conventions or cosplay, but we already established what happens at furry conventions. I can post some news articles if you want to continue to defend them.
Ok, ultrafuck you and everyone carrying your demented genes.
Firstly, not even remotely right wing and my post history proves this so fuck you and all your ancestors with a sideways boom crane.
Secondly, I was part of the genesis of furrydom, an active user at FurryMUCK (before MMOs had graphics, son), my fursona was a roly poly black bear that just liked tea a lot.
The first year or two was really nice until everyone turned it into a fucking cybersex room and you couldn't go anywhere without running into a yiff marathon. Including a fucktonne of non-con.
And it's only got worse from there.
I tried finding non-sexual MOOS and MUSHes but at that point they just didn't exist anymore, so I dropped out of the community and have just stared in horror from afar as all the reports of shit smeared walls and public suit sex rolled in.
Best choice I've ever made.
You said yourself you were part of a really nice community until it became something you disliked. I think it's very likely that you're not the only one who left after feeling pushed out. I don't think it's fair to blame that community any more than you could blame MMO fans.
When I meet a furry that isn't a degenerate I'll change my position.
I agree furries are weird. I don't like it. Free country and all but what a weird choice to spend your time on.
Have you ever seen the Shining?
