You said yourself you were part of a really nice community until it became something you disliked. I think it's very likely that you're not the only one who left after feeling pushed out. I don't think it's fair to blame that community any more than you could blame MMO fans.
When I meet a furry that isn't a degenerate I'll change my position.
I agree furries are weird. I don't like it. Free country and all but what a weird choice to spend your time on.
