I’ve got a Quest 2 right now and have been using a Nintendo Switch charger to charge it as its more convenient for me to have just one plug. Will this cause long term damage? I am getting a Quest 3 soon. Is it the same answer?

For the most part, with usb-c charging, if you plug it in and it starts charging, you’re good. The biggest question is, how fast will it charge? Not all chargers will charge at the maximum possible rate. There are in-line testers you can use to see how fast you’re charging.
