I started playing with some friends during the beta test. We were all gnomes so we would have the same starting city. I played a rogue. If I recall correctly, the others were magician and cleric.

I played EQ when it went live, and played until Gates of Discord. Since then I seem to have a cycle of playing for 1-2 years before taking 1-2 years off. EverQuest is the game I always end up returning to, though.

Looks like there's a whole 2 of us using Lemmy instead of Reddit LOL.

I missed out on classic because I could never afford a subscription, but started playing when the F2P stuff started and have been enjoying the TLP action over the past few years a lot.

It was just me for a while. It's nice to see others in here. I have a feeling with more niche communities popping up all the time, we will see more people stopping by to see what the fuss is about.

I have been on Mischief since launch. I just got to level 80. It's amazing how much SoF changes things. They really seemed to balance things more like a modern MMO. I liked classic, but I also am excited about the way things are going. One of my favorite changes made back in TSS is them stopping making every single mob summon.
