  2. Unlike reddit can we please drop the pretense that south africa is perfect and staying is correct and also not have spam of everyone saying they cant wait to leave. I don't care either way I just hated how every single post's discussions ended up being those two conflicting points.

I was wondering the whole time if you're the same person from the SA reddit sub. I saw your username and some of your comments on lemmy world news i think.

It's nice to encounter familiar users on the lemmy side of things

I used the same nic just to get an idea of who it was that started this instance - if I was immediately banned, I'd have a pretty good idea. I don't think most people will use the same nic, though.
