Why Mercedes is so adamant its trick wing is legal? It’s legal.
Mercedes have worked with FIA to make sure they’re on the right side of the rules. That doesn’t mean there won’t be a TD to close the loophole, but the wing is legal for now.
So it basically boils down to what a flap is. Teams could reduce the entire top row to just wires covering the row below it?
I don’t believe the rules state flap. I believe they call them elements or sections.
