Lot's of "Failed to load" and similar error messages with wefwef. Anyone else? (self.wefwef)

Not complaining by any means--wefwef is becoming my favorite way to access lemmy on my Android phone--just curious if any of the rest of you are seeing this a lot? I'm on lemmy.world, so it's entirely possible there are load issues, but I was just curious.

I just noticed that lemmy.world is based in Finland(?) There are probably a lot of variables, but would a USA-based instance be snappier in a general sense? Obviously Lemmy as a whole is getting battle tested recently--but in theory, would an instance geographically closer to the user perform better?
