Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

Previously, when I would go to the inbox and look at new replies, I could interact with those replies from the inbox- there were buttons to upvote, reply, and go to the context. But those seem to be gone in the new update- was that intended?

I also don't see them by default but if I click or hold on this area in red those actions appear for me.

Edit: specifically it appears to be when I hold, not just tap

THATS WHAT IT IS THANK YOU

I wasn't thinking to click and hold... I may put a request in for a toggle that lets you swap the single click and click and hold functionality. I'm use to Infinity for Reddit (which I think offered the same) where I press and hold to collapse comments and single tap to open/close comment interactions

Yea I don't like the new interaction. I would prefer to just see it to begin with.

Wow so all interactions are hidden behind a press of an invisible long-hold button? What's wrong with a swipe or single tap if there isn't another interaction for it to conflict with?

Seems like tapping expands/collapses the message. I would just prefer it always visible or maybe a swipe action like you said.

Edit: Actually I think flipping expand/collapse tap with the long hold would be good.
