I can't help with first hand experience but on r/lightnovels it seems like Moon Reader is the preferred LN client. I would assume that the app can read .mobi files.
Just wanted to update here that Moon Reader worked like a charm. It let me set up to read my mobi file exactly how I liked without any kind of weird restrictions due to the file type. Thanks for the recommendation!
Good to hear. Maybe that's something for the Wiki. Best Reader app for X platform. I set it on my to-do-list.
I will give this a try! If I want to get back into reading LNs regularly, I need to figure out a workflow for it.
