It can be good when there are multiple groups split up experiencing different parts of the same event. Or when it’s a small chapter giving or commenting on something that has happened from someone else’s point of view.

But I agree for most of the stories I read I prefer just following one person and having the side stories / alternating POV at the end.

So I’m A Spider So what? -

Tap for spoilerWhen the big Human vs Demon war is happening you see the different battles from people points of view, for some you also get the two opposing sides so you can see their personal feelings on the battle and their emotions.

Death March To A Parallel World rhapsody - I believe there are some small chapters (1-3 Pages) that are just comments/notes from a demon about what’s happening to a superior.

I’ve been killing slimes for 300 years - Vol 04 to Vol 06

The last few weeks I continued slowly with Slime 300. The writing is pretty uniform, no real changing in quality. It is defiantly slice of life - “this week we did …”. If you want something relaxing with fluff it’s worth reading.

I was never a reader until I got into Light Novels a few years ago.

But if you include audiobooks:

H G Wells (First men in the moon , The Time Machine)

H P Lovecraft

P G Woodhouse (The Inevitable Jeeves)

Yeah, I haven’t started the new series yet so not sure.

Hopefully they will keep it closer to the LN. But listening to the audiobook I only caught a few bits changed in the original Anime like the person he sees at the start and skipping the 4th volume. There might be more as I don’t retain much when listening and working.

Spice and Wolf - Vol.03 to Vol.05 [Audiobook]

The narration is a bit better with the second narrator but the voices are just not the same as in the anime. For anyone who’s watched the anime and thinking about reading the series Volume 4 is completely missed in the Anime so is new content.

Didnt I say to make my abilities average - Vol.18

Nothing much to note. It is similar to all of the other volumes in writing. I still enjoy the story and the interactions of the characters.

This week only has Average abilities for me.

Spice and Wolf - Vol.01 to Vol.02 [Audiobook]

I started to listen to the audiobooks at work as I am caught up with my podcasts.

Story - I can’t remember much of the story, I only retain about 20% of what I listen to when working. But I have watch the original Anime so I am not too concerned about the early story line, I am mainly listening to see if there are any changes from the Anime.

Narrator - The narrator is clear and easy to listen to, But Holos voice is terrible. He just doesn’t manage to give the haughtyness / pridefulness that she has in the Anime. The 3rd volume has introduced Holos English voice actress but so far she hasn’t used the same voice and is lacking as well.

Death March to another world - Vol.20

With the new volume out I have moved up a volume. I still enjoy this series a lot.

P.S. re-reading Bookworm part 2 as I have some sort of flu.

You haven’t got the devouring have you?

I had sanity?

As long as I can still read it. It would be horrible to go through with it and find I can’t read it.

Futurama - The Scary Door - The Last Man On Earth

So the long wait for me…

If only I could invent time travel. Forget fixing the worlds problems, I could use it to read bookworm sooner.

I am still missing something.

Tap for spoilerWhat’s the importance about her being dyed in this volume? Or is it just that she is now stuck with the goddesses colour.

A few volumes back Hirschur mentioned that children with the devouring / children of Ewigeliebe are born without colour. As a result Myne was having a crisis in that scene as she got dyed by Ferdinand in the mind reading. And it was important for her to be a zent candidate, etc.

Also any idea about what Sylvester, Karstead and Ferdinand were going on about at the end? Or was it just implying that something happened between Myne and Ferdinand because she added him to the Ahrenbach foundation which is for the archducal family.

What’s the throwback 4D chess moment in bookworm?

I think I missed it. I can’t think what it could have been.
