100% it will not, I'm not sure where that idea came from? They never said there would be a free expansion that I ever saw.

There were a couple mentions of it. Previously, purchasing directly from GOG would get you all future DLC, then later your purchase would be upgraded to GOTY edition. Eg with Witcher 3.
