Discussion on all things keyboards

I've been looking around to find a good keyboard for myself after having used a sad wireless membrane, so, after reading around a bit, as my first foray I decided I wanted a 75% with mechanical brown switches, but I'm finding it really hard to find a good list of keyboards that matches my description because I'd like the layout to be Italian and most, if not all of the ones I found are US instead, I'm not a touch typer so I still care about that.

So is there any comprehensive website that allows you to filter by all the relevant characteristics?

I thought about it, but the keys are different, aren't they?

Ok had to dig in a bit but im 90% the ISO layout is the same mechanically its just a matter of installing Italian key caps and setting your operating system to the correct keyboard inputs.

So you can use that database to search for any ISO keyboard that meets your requirements and then you can just buy a set of keycaps with the correct Italian legends.

A bit late to the party (wasn't in the mood to do shopping for a while), buuuut thank you SO much for pointing that out! You're 100% right, I don't think I would have noticed if it weren't for your comment, I was also a bit stupid because I just hadn't read, in the same website I cited myself, that the other layouts are listed and explained.
I think I'll do exactly what you suggested!

Awesome, I am glad to hear it. Enjoy your new keyboard when it gets there.

Thanks, will do! I think I'll end up starting with a base board and add switches+keycaps separately, so I've got a lot more hunting to do
