I personally can't wait to see communities like r/hiphopheads, r/internetisbeautiful, r/listentothis, r/battlestations... join lemmy and become as active as they are on reddit. what are some of y'all fav?

I feel like ‘fan’ communities like Star Wars and Halo have a better chance at being positive communities with constructive discussion on lemmy because the community here seems like they want to genuinely care about discussion. Those types communities got to a pretty awful state on Reddit because the loudest ‘critic’ would always receive the most upvotes, despite usually having overly nitpicky and poorly thought out criticism.
