Are cars tools designed specifically for killing?
They are both dangerous tools that take some training to use safely, but can be bought and used without a license but may need to have a license to use or have in public. I think it is a fair analogy. But I do concede cars have more use than guns.
You mean the big boxes made from steel you can easily "Dodge" if you see them coming. The ones with a license plate you can identify?

My statement was about the people with permits be allowed to carry on college campus. It might me better for safety to remove all guns but I honestly think that is near unattainable in the US.
