A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. So this isn't directly related to patientgaming but my hardware and personal tastes kind of filter me to playing games no newer than five years old.

I'm looking for some recommendations for games that can be completed within ten hours. I've realized recently that this is the sweet spot how much I enjoy playing a game before I get bored of it. I'm open to all types of games. Thanks in advance!

Shattered Pixel Dungeon

I'm very much the same way, but this one I keep coming back to because there's so many different ways to play it. Chances are, if you have a phone or computer, you can even get it free (though I would recommend supporting the developer, it's a passion project and he's never sold to adding ads)

I 2nd this recommendation. It's such an awesome game! It seems simple at first, but it's very complex. It also seems very hard at first, and it is, but with experience you'll eventually beat it.
