Self-hate and concern trolling is not allowed. We understand that it can get tiring to see numerous dogmatic/extreme Muslims around you which might include your own loved ones BUT that is no excuse for people to then generalise their personal experiences to hate in a general sense people who might just happen to be Muslims. Posts like "I hate my dad because he forces me to pray" are OK however, posts/comments like "As a Pakistani myself, I hate Pakistanis, they are so dumb and stupid" will not be allowed

The bot posts these on every new post (which it selects at random from the new content on r/exmuslim on reddit), including posts made by other bots (hence itself). If you think this post is low-effort or something, just report it. I'm one mod here :/

No worries. Was just kidding around. Keep up fighting the good fight. Being a mod is a lot harder than just moderating content. No one told me that you have to constantly feed it content.

haha 😜 honestly there's some reasons why we wanted to do this... the r/exmuslim community never made an official migration to lemmy, and this community would otherwise be empty if this bot wasn't mirroring some of it. Hopefully at some point there will be enough subscribers and posters to move it forward and we can give ExMooseBot better tasks to do, like captioning images for accessibility, etc.
