Nature's Patterns - the beauty in the details

Lots of communities are dedicated to nature's big pictures, the breathtaking vistas and scenic landscapes. Those are all great, but I find the details of the natural world to be just as much of a draw.

From ripples in sand, to whorls in bark, this community celebrates the beauty in the little patterns and textures of nature.

The frozen condensation on my liquid nitrogen tanks gets so wispy and delicate. It moves like hair blowing in the wind.

It is!

That would have been cool to see them with beards like this!

Or to see a good ending! I read all them dang books, and now I have zero interest in finishing, not that I'll ever get the chance if I wanted to.

I'm glad I never read the books, it would be difficult to invest all that time and the promise of a good story line, and then.....................

At least the TV show dropped in quality before the final season(s). The promise of a good ending that was well paced and thought out was fading well before the end.

I always used to re-watch episodes, but I only ever watched the final episode once

On a slightly more positive note, I have watched 'House of the Dragon' which I rather like, but I'm approaching it with caution, hopefully the show runners won't shit the bed with this one

And it wasn't even bad in that it was rushed, it just threw away so many people's character development, and there were so many hanging storylines where the books left off, and now I know they don't mean squat since they were able to completely cut them out of the story. Just so much wasted stuff.

Shame! Shame! Shame!
