You can set any page as the homepage by going to the desired page, then tap on the three dots -> Set as homepage.
Yes! Thank you, that's exactly what I needed. Somehow I missed the three dots, possibly because they're at a place where Android trained me to expect the + for new post. This is a seriously great app.
