It's the first thing that gets shown when you land on the page. You can't access the ming options or any other website features. Not even the content. You have to go through this prompt before accessing anything on the site. This means that they whould know what colors are used for all new visitors to the site.
I don't doubt that this is a mistake and not intentional though.
As it shows here though this is useless
