What's the best way to go about getting a community created on Lemmy if there isn't one, and you don't have the time to start and moderate it yourself? (self.asklemmy)

I really haven't found a great solution to this, and I really miss some of my old subreddits that weren't as large as things like /r/aww, r/pics, r/gaming, etc.

Agree with this, I've never modded before but I started communities for Arrested Development and for MST3K, just so that they would exist.

Only the latter has really taken off, and even then I've had nothing to really do as a mod (although I've been joined by one of the old mods from the MST3K subreddit).
