Same vibes as when people tell you "the DLC areas of DS2 are great" but they have some of the most toxic shit known to humanity

Oh yeah I love endlessly respawing horned beasts coming out of a blizzard! That sets me back to the start because why have a bonfire on the run to a gankboss anyways right?

Don't forget the invulnerable ghosts in a room full of spiky floors that slow you down to a crawl and deal DoT...

And the run across a series of rocky passageways full of guys out of reach that increase your weight to the point that you can't almost even move, so you can't just run past it to retry the boss quickly, a boss which by the way is simply a fight with a trio of reused NPCs...

And the run to Sir Alonne...

Seriously it's baffling to me that people say those DLCs are great. A salad with a couple poisoned tomatoes and one rotten egg cannot be a great salad!

Honestly I always skip the optional Dlc bosses in ds2. Then only the bossrun to the squalid queen is somewhat annoying. Especially with the hidden bonfire being pretty... Hidden.
