So, start guessing: How much will it be?

My guess:

  • Initial release will be a midrange model at around 80k
  • there will also be a top model at about 100k, available later
  • and of course E will promise a "working man's" edition sometime in the future. It will be said to be around 40k and will be postponed over&over again.

Looks like the F150 Lightning is $60,000-ish today.

Therefore, Elon will do everything he can to have a model that competes with F150 Lightning. I'm talking "Phone-call only $35k Model 3" tricks, limited production (likely losing thousands of dollars per sale), etc. etc and then gone after a couple of weeks kinda trickery.

Elon Musk doesn't fight fair. He'll sell 10 cars at a good price and then advertise to the world that the car came in at this low price.

I'm guessing $55k or $60k (though limited run / phone-call only kinda deal). Anything to come in at a lower price than F150 Lightning.

I totally get your point. That's why I suspect some ominous cheap model..

He definitely has to do some trickery to at the same time cash in on the CT hype and give the Simps an argument why it's still cheaper than all the other ev trucks.
