They will, they don't manufactur their chips which means they bid for how many processors they can have made at a given rate.

What this means for the GeForce brand is that it has to compete internally with the more profitable AI chips.

FAB volume limits are important enough an issue that governments are investing billions per year to resolve, but demand just keeps going up.

GeForce getting less of NVIDIA's FAB allocation means lower yield, less units with the AI margins in mind means that NVIDIA can & will demand greater margins per unit for their consumer chips.

A lot of tech enthusiasts want GeForce to split from NVIDIA so that they can have a separate internal desire to be competitive again.
