Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.
Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

Pro android tip: use NewPipe (or similar app) instead of a browser for YouTube links. Just make sure to set the app to open the supported links by default in android settings.
And disable YouTube to open 'Supported links': https://github.com/TeamNewPipe/NewPipe/issues/2665
I love Newpipe but I couldn't get over how cumbersome importing subs was for me. Also not having my watch history was mildly annoying. I switched to ReVanced about 2 weeks ago and haven't opened my YT app since.
This is true. Although I think NewPipe has its place for when you don't want to link your watch history to your Google account. So I use it like private mode for YouTube.
Good call. I hadn't thought if that. I did really like the folder function on it. Grouping content so that I could easily see new posts in a genre was great.
I used ReVanced for a while but I've switched over to libretube and it's been a great change.
Never used libretube but I'll have to look into it.
It's much like newpipe just looks better and imo it was easier to deal with subs. You can make an account with a piped instance that will keep all your subs so if you move phones or something you don't have to re-import everything.
Ohhh very neat. Does it have a folder or grouping function to group subs or view videos in a group rather than a generic feed?
I'm not sure personally. I just use it as a generic feed but there is a bunch of settings for subscriptions that I haven't even bothered to touch.
