I landed here after RIF stopped working on my device and followed RIF link. This will be my new place to find content and see aggregation. Here it is to the end of reddit that starts today! ๐Ÿป

It's a little disgusting, but completely in character, for Reddit to leech off those apps for over a decade and then stab them in the back.

And by leech, I mean I question whether Reddit would have grown as much as it did without the 3rd-party apps. Hardly anyone uses Reddit desktop.

... it's probably a good thing that I don't have Reddit on my phone now, to be honest, just wish it hadn't happened this way.

I've heard a lot of people share the same sentiment - it's actually a good thing that we don't have access to reddit apps now. It was too addictive, took up too much of our time, and now we get to try new things.

I keep seeing this addiction angle from a lot of people and I can't help but laugh because, you're all here, just replacing one addiction with another.
