I could see him being a good addition to your squad in this context. He's certainly got the experience and leadership ability. And assuming there is no major language barrier he could be a great fit, not least because he probably has a season of two left in his tank in a less frenetic league than the PL.

There should be no language barrier, English is very well spoken in the Netherlands, and Dutch is possibly the easiest language for an English speaker to learn
