Real name Arcadia, nickname Nugget - we got this sweet girl from a shelter a few months ago. She had been a stray baby mama with a litter, and was incredibly tiny and affectionate when we met her. (lemmy.world)

We are grateful we did, she is a true joy

We lost our last lady, Muse, to cancer early in the year and we weren't sure if we could adopt again so soon. However we are so glad we eventually decided to go to the shelter and happened to meet Arcadia.

We spoke about it and in the end decided when it's time to adopt again it's never about trying to replace your lost one, it's about giving another cat the opportunity to have a home.
