I regularly find myself in cycles of feeling broken as I'm the only person in my family or my in-laws family to have mental illness. Specifically bipolar. It's difficult to explain how favorites change, moods change, outlooks and opinions change all on a whim and without my control. It's kind of nice to stumble on this community of people dealing with it too and making some great jokes about it.

Most likely you are the only one to fully admit it. Congrats, you have the emotional capacity and maturity to understand it and seek out help! That's a great thing.

Welcome to the club! It's bananas, but at least you can hang with the bunch.
