I just created my acct here. Still holding out hope that they reverse the API changes...but probably not. :(

For me the admins have shown their true colors. Even if they reversed the API changes, they cannot take back what they've said and how they've acted.

I used Lemmy for a week before I deleted my Reddit account.

It is tempting to go back to Reddit. The content is better and more diverse. But if we don’t stay strong we’ll miss an opportunity to build a better internet that is truly ours.

It might take years to build. It will be difficult but in the end we get so much more to win.
