Something has been eating my tomatoes. It had the rudeness to take bites out of several instead of chomping on just one. I suspect it was a rat, as I know they are around the area. Devastated because I was so looking forward to the tomatoes, have been eagerly watching them grow. They had just started to turn red. Another day and I would have picked some! Anyhow, trip to Bunnings and netting has been deployed. Let hope there’s no more plundering tonight.

I suspect rats of eating all of the sunflower seeds and my carrrots last year. Little bugger also stole all of my chilis - I located it's nest and it was stuffed full of them! I've done a lot of clearing of areas they can hide in, so I'm hoping to have less problems with them this year. My tomatoes are still subbornly green at the moment though.
