Yeah, a fair few people have already left. This caused some complications for one of the subs I moderate, as the absence of those people skewed a poll and let the nay-sayers get their way with basically no further protesting to the reddit overlords.

I don't understand how some redditors can just roll over for this.

I think we are drawn to the familiar. It’s easier to deal with what we know then to figure out what we don’t (Lemmy, instances, etc)

People are dumb. They did the same with Netflix. Also, people being lazy, just loginto a website and see everything but with Lemmy they have to do prep work so they just give up and go back.
