If you are the main character, are we sidekicks? Or can we be nemesises? (Nemesisis? Nemeses? Oh -- that's how it's spelt!) Can we be nemeses? Or arch-nemeses?

Or do we get spin off subs and go our own ways with occasional cross-overs?
