See -- that makes more sense.

Although now I kind of want to see the former President and his ex chief of staff solving crimes and chasing trains................

I must be missing something, cause "CJ" to me is the Press Secretary from The West Wing, and I don't remember her having to follow a train.................

Unless this is one of those weird episodes they never broadcast? ("Bartlett and Cregg, PI" ?)

I admit this is the first one I've seen.

I might set one up for "the end of the world"

Has the world ended today?

No. No. No. No. No.

Because on the day the world explodes............. yeah, hold on........ I'm starting to see the flaw in this plan.

I realise this isn't really tumblr, but this entire stream just made me laugh so much I thought it deserved a wider audience.

[–] GabrielBell12fi 1 points 3 weeks ago

I admit, not so much :)

I am surprisingly good at bashing the bishop...............

Hold on. That didn't come out right.

I have a large car.

Which is also helpful for running over annoying priests :)

We are told we live in a world where everyone is equal, but when someone (or quite a lot of someones) suggest that the death of a rich white man might not be the tragedy we are told to think it is, suddenly all of the other rich white men are upset that that is the prevailing view, and they want to use their platforms to tell us that "yes it is and we should think it is"

If you ask most people they will tell you the lesson I learned a long time ago -- a lesson most of us learn relatively young.

Not all deaths are worth mourning. You don't have to celebrate them, but you don't have to pretend that you are sad they are dead either.

I was not a big fan of dogs, but watching my most beloved talk about, play with and randomly walk up to dogs on the street just so she could pet them and talk to their owners about them was one of the true joys of my life, and one of the things I miss the most.

So much so I even find myself going "PUPPY!" (at least in my head) when I walk past dogs or drive past them because the idea of walking past a dog without finding it adorable was something she couldn't do.

How do people spend their life with someone and not find them endlessly fascinating? It just baffles me someone could do that.

Yeah

sorry.

For some reason I read the word "boots" as "bots"

I really have no excuse or explanation, other than being a dick.

Again -- sorry.

I am definitely not a bot.

I am definitely a human being.

I promise.

Cross my CPU and hope not to terminate my process.

There's another post that suggested that he took his mask down because he was flirting with a youth hostel employee and she asked if she could see his face.

The posts are about 90% "we are not going to suggest he is a hero but we are going to come close", 8% "we think he should be caught then the jury should let him off" and 2% "fuck it, we're just going to celebrate this because the CEO was demonstrably evil"

Rare that you see things like this outside of brutal dictators in foreign lands.

To be fair, the title might have been a tad more sarcastic than people might first think :)

What now? (self.nanowrimo)

So November is over, and you've either finished your novel or you got as far as you could.

Or, you know, you gave up and started playing Trombone Champion on the Quest 3 because it's fun and it annoys your neighbours when you do it at 3am.

Whatever your experience, it's December so you have a whole year until it's November and NaNo again. So what will you do?

Edit and publish your story? Start a new story? Read other stories?

Do something that has nothing to do with reading or writing at all? (What sweet madness is this? I don't know what possessed me to suggest this!)

The community will remain, even if it gets little use so come and tell your stories. (Metaphorical ones, not literal ones -- unless you want to tell literal ones as well!)

I always disliked Andy. So (shrug). April was far more interesting a character before she met him.

This will be my first Christmas without her. I've already had our first anniversary (23rd) and her first birthday (44th), and now Christmas, New Year (which we always spent together) and my birthday.

The problem with this diagram -- with this theory -- is that it assumes the outer circle can grow. That it is not moored, permanently, to the inner circle.

Also I have no idea why it veered into a discussion about a moth's DNA. That was unexpected, but very tumblrish.
