A warning to us all about how habit forming electronic devices can be.
Anon could have read a book or practiced a skill like drawing, crochet or similar.
If you find yourself with some free time and all you can think to do is pull out your phone, laptop or PC; Have a think about that.
Hey I love video games.
As do I! But if all you can think to do with your free time is be at your computer, that might be worth some thought.
You may be fine with it, and that’s fine. I was fine with it for a long time. But then I started to think about all the other stuff I wanted to learn, and it made me sad.
On the opposite side, not every hobby you have has to be monetizable, or has to increase your value as a worker. You can do something just to have fun.
