Is Nexeon considered indie?

I thought they were a huge South Korean studio.

People have either forgotten or are unaware that Dave the Diver was nominated for Indie of the Year at The Game Awards.

It appears that way

People are aware, but it's not a good joke because it's a common misconception that it's indie. It just looks like someone else confused about it.

Indie style game?

As inaccurate as it is to talk abojt publisher size, it is helpful to give ideas to aesthetics and budget. I find myself more interested in smaller games like this, so I pay special attention when the term "indie" is used, even if it's from a big publisher (child of light is another good example)

Sure. No one uses that term though.

Double As been used for decades but sure no one uses it.

Ok. I was being hyperbolic. But clearly AA isn't used nearly as much as "indie" is.

Fair.

But we should start using it more than, I feel there’s a big vibe difference between indie and shareholder-adjacent games.
