Omg it's been years since I watched it and I just heard the theme in my head like it was the first time... I need to rewatch it now
I just realized it's kinda the same melody as the Game of Thrones intro

The initial engine boost on a Federal Corvette sounds like the cliffhanger-ending sound from the old pre-reboot doctor who, and it messes with my head every time.
