Music Festivals...what's been good; what are you looking toward? (self.psychedelicmusic)

In the past Desert Daze has always been my favorite. Great mix of bands, cool location(s), and just great vibes all round...but unfortunatley that one may or may not come back. I've found Levataion to be fun, but not as much a festival vibe because of the multiple venues. RIP to the original Austin Psych Fest.

What else is out there? Anyone got any fun ones? ..or Fyre-esque? Any thing local worth checking out?

A few that are on my radar: Hulaween, the Thing, Psych Peaks, and Goner fest

For such a large festival, Bonnaroo is great. It's admittedly been awhile since I've been back, but the atmosphere is made by just how great everyone is to each other. I'm not an outgoing person, but all the conversations with strangers with everyone so open and friendly is half of the draw for me.

You'll literally get some of the biggest names in music as headliners, but its lineup is large and diverse as hell every year. Unlike some other larger festivals, it kinda never stops either. There's music playing until sunup.
