I posted this question because I once saw a tweet that said something like:

"If you use adblock, you don't care about creator's point blank"

What is your opinion on this? Do you agree with them?

Completely agree! I know in most cases when I tell people about Adblockers they get concerned about their privacy. I end up staring at them and asking if they'd like to repeat their concerns and sometimes they understand where I'm coming from. Others just "don't like change" but always wonder why my system is running faster or why my browsing experience is more enjoyable.

I totally understand that content creators rely on ads as well as other forms of media. For those that I follow, in some cases, I'll whitelist them and allow the ads for support.

But basic browsing or just pausing a video on YouTube shouldn't leave me sitting there waiting to skip another 2 or 3 ads.
