Can't say about the 'Global South' thing, but he's far from loosing even legit elections, too much apathy, and if something, people around me of all walks of life only want to be left alone. Living standards decreased, prices increased, but locals still manage their day2day life. Still something to lose, still a will to ignore, and a general mindset of them political things being too big for us little men.
