Can't help but think that the 300 million is going to achieve a lot more for the safety of America and the West than the remaining 886 billion combined.

That's a bit of an exaggeration. However, I do think bloodying a hostile foreign enemy without having to spend American lives is worth every single cent we send Ukraine, not to mention helping them defend their country is the right, moral thing to do...
