Spinning wheel when creating post in !newcommunities (self.lemmyworld)

I have no issues creating a post in my community or here but when attempting to create a new post in !newcommunities I just get a spinning wheel.

What's a common culprit?

Also, do we really need to select a language each time we post?

I was able to post in !newcommunities fine but I also ran into spinning wheel problems when trying to comment/post in some other communities. Haven't checked if there are any known issues regarding this yet.
