Metal thieves
Meth heads scavenge copper wire to sell to recycling plants.
Those are DC fast chargers right? So they would have thick copper cables too. Probably a lot of bang for your buck if you're trying to steal copper.
Yes. What's silly is that these thieves get caught unless they have a fence at the recycling center. I used to work at a machine shop and every time they stole copper from our yard, we'd get a call from the recycling plant, we'd get the copper back, and the thieves would go to jail. But they'd be back in the yard a few weeks later.
