They hung out for about an hour and then moved on.

One thing that I thought was fun, and I didn't get a video of it, unfortunately, they kept clumping up and then the clump would get too heavy and fall onto the ground, then they would separate and fly back into the swarm.

Congratulations, you got to witness the birth of a new colony. Swarming is how the honey bee superorganism reproduces.
