Gushing about CoreXY:

I finally got around to upgrading to a klipper based core xy machine and it is magic I went for the K1 Max, since it was $680 after discounts and it's 300mm^3^ (1.5X the size of a X1C)

Accelerations are 10x faster, print times are 4x shorter compared to my highly modded ender3 and cr-10. this build took about 12hr of print time, normally it was 2 full days.

NO sanding, NO filing, NO heating things up to make them fit right.

Every single piece came off the build-plate perfectly ready to go, aside from my intentionally under-sized pivot and takedown pin holes. I like to drill those out personally...

Now for the specifications:

  • Daichi Upper + shroud (modified)
  • DS1913 Lower v1.2 (modified)
  • Slim Everytown mag (modified)
  • Get Bent angled grip
  • Mini hand stop
  • sling mount is just the mount from SG22 brace
  • Sling is a laptop bag strap ๐Ÿ˜†
  • The muzzle device is an AKM compensator I modified to work for AR barrels. It works marvelously to prevent muzzle climb. Check the video how the gas is going up and forward.
  • The binary is the mythical Invisibinary by Klaviermeister. It was taken down years ago but if you have half a brain you can find it still. Fosscad of reddit keeps making posts begging for the files every few months lol. they all give up and pay $400 for a storebought binary.

Wondering about reliability? I have thousands of rounds through this binary trigger. check out this clip of a mag dump at 600RPM: https://imgur.com/a/khxhymP

this firearm is for self-defense only. The quote is from Woody Guthrie's guitar ___

22 for self defense? What?

Yeah my point of saying that was more that I don't plan to use this gun if I don't get my way if my guy doesn't get elected like a lot of people are saying out loud these days.

This is a defensive weapon and not an offensive weapon.

That said, this argument is so tired.

22LR can go right through a car door (or your skull) However it won't go through multiple walls and kill my neighbors. People act like it's a BB gun.

I understand that most people do not care if their neighbors die but I do. I live in an apartment.

When the recoil and muzzle climb is non-existent I can land 30 shots in 3 seconds in the same spot. Good luck getting two rapid fire shots with 223 in the same spot. If you miss that first one good luck. I think rapid fire 22 is more similar to buckshot. Lots of small projectiles all at once

Most of the time the bullet only enters and does not exit the skull. It will do a couple bounces before it stops inside of your brain.

That said, 10mm MP5 with AR FCG (so I can use my binary) is next. You got to start somewhere.

Depends on the car door, and even with a skull it can glance off if it hits at an angle. Also assumes you are only aiming at the skull. I did know there are people honestly admitting online they plan to go on a shooting spree if their guy doesn't win. They deserve whatever the feds wind up doing to them then.

My own neighbor I have gone shooting with has expressed this to me.
Maybe he is being edgy, but he also is massively depressed recently due to loss of income and hes looking for anyone to blame but himself.

I was going to invite him to my range day this week and I decided against it for now.

It's funny you trust law enforcement to protect you. Have you not paid attention what happened with Nathan Pelham, the insurrectionist? He shot his gun at police and they left and let him sleep it off. He only got two years instead of 20. Anyone else would have had the SWAT team called and then been turned into soup in their house.

Why is the 22 the main choice for assassins?
surely if one of the 30 bullets glances their not all 29 others will. Make that 49 once I get a reliable drum mag (if that is even possible)

Again I admit it is not the most powerful caliber. I'm looking forward to making my 10mm MP5 once I find reasonably priced parts.

I never said I trusted the feds to protect me. Law enforcement are only there to stick everyone around them in jail and ego trip. Assuming .22 lr is actually the most used by assassins, I would think it has to do with it being a quiet round. Them being subsonic plus a silencer would make it the quietest round available.

[โ€“] 4lan 2 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago)

Yeah I think less mess too. If you use a silencer and subsonic rounds it might take a few moments for people to notice the person that just dropped was actually shot.

Did you know for the longest time the world record largest bear killed with a firearm was with a 22LR? It was done by an older native American woman.

If it's good enough for bears it's good enough for fascists.

Side note: took the snowflake to the range yesterday to break her in. 375 rounds no problem! About 200 of that was binary.

That was 2 mags in binary, wide spread, but no misses at least lol.

Can't say the same for the people shooting next to me in semi
