How do I go about reporting an online pedophile? I only have his face picture. He says he's not from USA but from his writing style and the terms he use I think he is. Pls don't flood the post with questions about the story, I will make a full report to the authorities.

If he is from the states, FBI report is probably the way to go. I don't know much about making that report but it's probably a good place to start. If you have more specific location details than reaching out to that areas local authorities would be the next best bet.

I believe I filed my report a few years ago through the Cyber Tipline: https://report.cybertip.org/

A local FBI field agent got in touch 2-3 times with questions and updates. They weren't ultimately able to find anything actionable, unfortunately, despite ostensibly looking into the account.

I guess there's some international framework to catch them, so they can follow on leads and maybe forward it to other agencies.
