♦ Rules ♦
1. Stay Civil
This is a place for friendly discussion, memes, guides, art, gameplay questions, screenshots and the like. Discrimination and harrassment won't be tolerated.
2. Offtopic Posts
Anything not related to CotL, like politics, real-world news etc. is better suited elsewhere and will be removed. The same goes for NSFW material.
3. Don't argue about religion
Cult of the Lamb is a game with religious elements that might rub people the wrong way, but please keep in mind that it is just a game. Playing CotL does not turn the player into a cultist, just like standing in a garage doesn't turn people into cars.
4. No Advertisements
It is okay to post about merchandise, but links to those "design your own merch" sites will be removed, as those are almost always scams featuring stolen art. Affliate links will be removed as well. This isn't Etsy.
5. Provide Sources
If you're going to post art, comics, guides, screenshots etc. that are not your own OC, please mention the name of the original creator and ideally also a link to their portfolio/website. (Pinterest is almost never the original source)
6. Suggestions are Welcome!
Feedback, requests for improvements and constructive criticism are always appreciated ;)

It has a 13+ rating, so it is definitely not suitable for teens. It might have been a bit higher on the scale if the depictions of sacrifices and combat had realistic graphics instead of "just" the comic look, and the religious themes are a touchy subject foe some people, which are both things to keep in mind when considering whether or not to play/buy this game. But the official ESRB Game Rating is 13+ at the moment and you need to be at leat 18 years of age to participate on Lemmy.World anyway:
... so I figured it should be okay. But if a supporter, dev or admin has a different opinion about this, then I'm of course willing to make changes to the community accordingly.
I was mostly being sarcastic but thanks for taking this seriously anyway 👍
