I had been feeling a bit drawn in to reddit for the past few months before the divorce. I feel like the slower pace at which content comes out on Lemmy is good for me in that way. I can't just scroll and scroll and scroll my entire day away.

Does anyone else feel similar?

what is 195/196? I see them pop up sometimes but that name conveyed nothing to me in terms of what they're actually about

195 was a sub created by a group of school friends to share memes. Basically a big group chat. The name 195 was choosen because it would've been hard to randomly stumble upon it. 195 was shutdown when it got too big and the friend group didn't want to moderate it. 196 was originally created as a continuation of 195. That's the story I've always heard.
