A place to discuss and share anything related to lucid dreaming. "A lucid dream is a type of dream in which the dreamer becomes aware that they are dreaming while dreaming. During a lucid dream, the dreamer may gain some amount of control over the dream characters, narrative, or environment." (from Wikipedia) _How long have you been reading, posting or commenting here without doing a reality check? Maybe now is a good time, **are you dreaming right now?**_

Did you have one spontaneously? Randomly read about it online? Are you one of those lucky people that have had them since childhood?

I was following a youtuber that talked about magic trick, and I found an old video of him that talked about LD, and I started researching about it, last year I had two dreams. Two weeks I started trying again, but i couldn't have one so far (except the ones i had last year). Would appreciate some help ;) .

Cool! How is your dream recall? Usually the first step is trying to remember your dreams better.

Yeah, I'm actually pretty bad at that, when i write something on my dream journal, its just the last moment of the last dream of the night. I hope that by writings things down I'll be able to remember more and to have more vivid dreams in the future. I'm watching Beluga (Eplore Lucid Dreaming) guides, do you think his tutorials are good?

I haven't seen those tutorials, so I can't say.

But dream recall is a skill, you'll get better at it. I recommend writing in as much detail as you can, even if it's a short fragment. And if you don't remember anything just write "didn't remember anything" or something.

Some auto-suggestion before sleep can also help: "I will remember my dreams tonight" or "next time I wake up I will immediately remember my dreams".

Another thing that has been helping me is trying to be more mindful during the day, and going through my day in my head when I go to bed. Try to recall your day before sleep and your dreams after sleep :)

(Feel free to create a thread if you have more specific questions, this magazine could use some more content!)
